5.1 Search for new and modified files
Most common way of updating index file. By hitting "Find New And Modified Files" button the script crawls through your
directory structure and searches for:
- newly created files
- files included in index, but modified since last index update
- files included in index, but already deleted from the server
- old files that were not included in the index
All new files will be implicitly included in index, all modified files will be implicitly modified in index. All files
deleted from the server will be automatically removed from the index.
Notice that only directories already included in index will be crawled through. So if you wish to include files in new
directory, you should use 5.2 Add new directory option.
