2.1 Setting the way results are displayed

You can determine the way particular results are displayed on search results page. There is a total of six items that can be displayed:

  • <No> - order of search result
  • <Title> - title of the page
  • <URL> - URL of the page
  • <Description> - description of the page
  • <LastModified> - time of last file modification
  • <Size> - file size in kBytes
By editing HTML code in textarea you can set the way the results are displayed. Use any HTML tags, even cascading style sheets if you wish. Click on "Preview" link if you want to view your changes before saving them. You can change these settings anytime from your control panel.

Here are three tips. You can edit these codes and use them during installation, if you wish.

Tip No. 1

1. Search Engine For Your Site (www.apbsystems.com/search.html)
APB Search 2.2 sets up a search to your site. This Perl/CGI script can be used even by absolute non-programmers, since setup wizard will guide you from the beginning till the end of installation.
