1.3 Selecting files

Files in directories selected in step 1.2 Selecting directories are displayed. Choose which files you wish to include in index by checking appropriate checkboxes. Notice that files with extensions selected in part 1.1 Setting variables are automatically checked while files with other extensions are not checked.

Files with extensions .html, and .shtml are checked in this example. Therefore, if you wish to include file contents.dat into the index, you have to check this file. On the other hand, if you don't want to index file test.html, you've got to uncheck this file.
